Concert "Portrait of a Friendship"

Penn-Wharton Club of Toronto would like to invite you to the Toronto Messiaen Ensemble (TME)'s upcoming concert, "Portrait of a Friendship", which is on stage to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relationship between Canada and Israel. The program emphasizes one of the most important human values, friendship. As a symbol of friendship between two countries, the program is focused on two internationally acclaimed composers, Penn alumni, and long standing friends over 30 years, Dr. Ofer Ben-Amots (Israeli-American), the Chair of Music Department at the Colorado College and Dr. Gideon Gee-Bum Kim (Korean-Canadian), the Artistic Director of the Toronto Messiaen Ensemble.  Hope you will enjoy the considerably programmed works based on the rich cultural heritage of Israel and Korea.  Cost: Free.
